Why this exists

VIN lookup can lag a newly announced recall. Part 573 campaign records often contain the date affected VINs become searchable on NHTSA.gov. VinSleuth keeps that small but useful fact next to the campaign number and source PDF.

Source rule

Every verified row links to an official NHTSA Part 573 recall acknowledgement PDF and the NHTSA campaign-number API result checked by VinSleuth.

VinSleuth shows official NHTSA data (vehicle specs, recalls, complaints, crash ratings). We are not affiliated with NHTSA or any manufacturer. Data can lag or contain errors — always confirm an open recall with the manufacturer or a dealer before relying on it.
